Course descriptions are for Session 4: Tuesday, July 3rd to Friday, August 31st, there are no classes on Discovery Day weekend  August 18th, 19th & 20th.

Whatever your style, level, or fitness goal, we have a class that’s perfectly suited for you. All of our classes are progressive in design, building and expanding over a matter of weeks to allow you to deepen your practice and receive the individual attention you deserve. 

Never done Pilates before? See details regarding our Intro to Pilates Workshops: 

These one hour workshops will give you the information necessary to enrol in your first Pilates course. Learn the five basic principles of Pilates so that you can understand the ‘lingo’ and feel confident in your class. 

Saturday, June 23rd, 10:00 – 11:00 am with Ann $45 OR

Monday, June 25th, 5:00 – 6:00 pm with Ann $45 OR

Tuesday, June 26th, 6:30 – 7:30 pm with Ann $45 (more can be put on as necessary)

We also offer private classes for those who wish to work outside of the regular schedule and for those with injuries, pre and post-surgery, athletes, special interest groups or simply a group of friends who would like to work together!

All classes are 55 minutes unless otherwise indicated.

Our Classes are:

Matwork & Springs:

You will do many of the classical Pilates Matwork exercises designed by Joseph Pilates in the 1940s and 50s with many new additions – all designed to develop long, lean muscles. The Pilates Springs offer resistance which means you use your core with every move you make. They are also great for the 3 Bs: bones, back and balance!

Power Matwork:

This matwork class will be at a slightly faster pace than our other matwork classes; however, great attention will still be paid to form. 

Pilates for Seniors

Matwork & Springs classes for those over 55 taught by teachers over 55!

Apparatus:

Classes take place on the Pilates Reformer and Chair. Please see our video to watch clients working on the Apparatus, but don’t be scared they are advanced clients!

Studio Class:

Clients will  use the Apparatus, the Springs and matwork exercises at different times during their course. 

Stretch Therapy for Strength & Flexibility:

Designed to improve your flexibility and mobility, this course combines Pilates strengthening with Stretch Therapy for the whole body. Apply focused Stretch Therapy techniques that you can use at home or at work inspired by Kit Laughlin’s Stretch Therapy®.

Plus Factor Pilates:

This 45 minute essential Pilates matwork class is taught by Kelly who loves working with plus sized men and women who, like herself, want to work in an environment where they feel very comfortable and know that their teacher can relate to them! Her goal is to help you feel good, walk taller and feel comfortable as you move through life. 

Prenatal Pilates:

This Pilates Matwork class is specifically designed for pregnancy. Please check with your doctor before enrolling. 

The above classes are divided into varying levels explained below:

Multi Level:

These classes have clients with with varying degrees of Pilates experience. All of our teachers are experienced at making sure each person will be challenged at their appropriate level.

Level 1:

For those with no Pilates experience and/or those who have not done any physical activities recently.

Level 1/2:

For those with some Pilates experience who wish to challenge themselves with more difficult exercises than beginner level.

Level 2:

Intermediate level classes suitable for active people who have been doing Pilates for a year or more.

Level 2/3:

For intermediate clients who want to be challenged with more complicated moves requiring greater strength and stamina.

Level 3:

For the very fit and experience Pilates client. You will be working with other clients, like yourself, on advanced Pilates moves suitable for athletes.
